Anyone tried one of those adapters that sell for about £10 ?

YES ! Works a treat.....I've got single 13 pin electrics but I bought a bike carrier with 7 pin, so I use it with the bike rack.

Just bought a new caravan so it comes with 13 pin electrics so won't need it for the van Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

To charge the battery/run the fridge, you will need either 13 pin or 12n/12s white and black plugs on the car.

All the adaptors do is change the format they dont add or remove any functions. If you have only 7 pin black on the car and put a 7-13 pin adaptor into it you will only get lights, no charging etc.

For that you need the 2 white and black leads in to a 13pin socket and plug van into that.

If you have a 13 pin socket on the car you can get an adaptor which turns that into 12n and 12s.

Clear as mud? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
