Hi guys I will be importing my Full Fat to Perth in ten weeks time when I emigrate and would like to know where you can get the Navteq DVD's I assume a dealers but is there anywhere els and how much ?

I hate the prices dealers charge for these discs, totally bonkers. When I see them I start feeling that burning sensation you get from having eaten spicy food the day before if you know what I mean  MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

If you go onto the LR website you will find them but extremely expensive. I suggest to scour the internet for people selling their discs are more reasonable prices. Gumtree, Ebay, Trademe etc.

You can buy the DVD from NavTeq direct, but they aren't cheap. Think mine was about £180ish for UK & Europe, which is insane really as I could buy a TOM TOM Live for less and that includes live data for incident reports / routing / traffic cams / speed restrictions etc.

These ridiculous prices make pirating software lucrative. If they priced these reasonably, most people wouldn't even think of pirating or using "aftermarket" systems in their cars.

I would prefer the official system in the car to work but since that is not possible in my case or ridiculously expensive in other cases, I opt for smartphone or tablet set-ups that are a fraction of the cost and work well in rental cars as well (I use rental cars regularly). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Apparently it's the same disc for BMW and some Saabs. Maybe it's cheaper for another Marques official disk?
