please could any body tell me how to remove the rear of the door mirrors as i want to check the bulbs under them as neither of them seem to work cheers

Just pop the mirror glass off and poke a screwdriver down the slot next to the light bulb symbol and the puddle light will pop out from underneath the mirror housing.

Do what I did, drive the car so close to a hedge it bangs the mirror glass out so its dangling on its wires  Discovery 4 HSE

while they are off upgrade them bulbs to the led ones, the ends of the led bulds must be under 12mm to fit through the bulb holder.. they make a big difference...

we're talking about the puddle lighting ? i have one gone too.... would be interested if anyone fits a LED. It does look kind of flash when you lock to the car.

Anyone know how to remove the 2007 ones? Theyre a different lens, does that just pop off??

You don't have too! You can poke a screwdriver under the mirror glass and release the clip. Towards the outside edge of the mirror there is an access hole, if you poke a small screwdriver into that and lever, it will release the oust clip that allows the lamp to drop down.

Once you've done it, you'll be able to do it each time. If you do have to pop off the mirror glass then pull it from the bottom. When putting it back it goes on at the top 1st before snapping back in at the bottom.
