Hey guys just thought I'd ask for your help, hopefully to save some time with trial and error.

What have you all found best for cleaning the interior of your FF? I have the ivory interior and really don't want to put any product onto it that could damage/ stain.

Carpets and headlining can be done using a Rug Doctor (rented from Homebase) and their Carpet Cleaning Solution. Be careful not to drip it in your eye when doing the headlining, it's not a pleasant experience. The amount of gunk that came out of my car was slightly scary!

Mix some multipurpose cleaner like flash lemon or similar in a spray bottle at a ratio of 10. 1 .Great for cleaning all sorts of stains etc .spray on lightly and wipe of with a clean microfibre towel. For grained areas such as door cards and seats use a small soft nailbrush and dry with mf towel  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I've been using gliptone leather cleaner and conditioner for the seats after seeing a few other members mention it.

Must say it works great and leather cleans quite well.

Just use general Autoglym rubber & vinyl for the rest of the plastic and rubbery bits and works fine for me.

want to try the rug doctor at some point for carpets and headlining. MY11 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - "African Queen"

For leather, use the Gliptone leather cleaner, followed by the conditioner. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

+1 for gliptone stuff

I've always used the autoglym for both leather and general stuff which are both good, however, lots of people on here recommend Gliptone for leather so I've ordered some yesterday and plan using it this wknd - will let you know!! Still intend to use AG for the rest though.... RR Vogue TDV8 08

If you can work a tiny tootbrush into the piping and crevices you will do an even better job as this will remove all the hidden dirt.

Gliptone is great because it has the most amazing smell. Very FFRR; reeking of good quality leather.

Use APC (All Purpose Cleaner from Autoglym) in a 10:1 solution (water:APC) and scrub it into the leather with a scrubbing brush. Do small areas at a time. Wipe off with a clean cloth and possibly repeat. Dry. Condition with Gliptone.

That'll do your seats, gear lever, steering wheel, arm rests, dash top... APC and a brush can be used on the door cards and other interior plastics. Si. <This is my name.

If you have mud on the headlining, I find letting it dry (very dry week or so etc.) then get a clean almost dry e-cloth and just very gently brush over the spot and the mud gets lifted off onto the cloth not leaving a mark. E-cloths are in most shops like supermarkets now and they come from some sort of NASA technology I think.

For leather cleaning I use 6 parts water to 1 part woolite through a spray bottle then wipe off with a soft microfiber cloth (damp) does a brilliant job. I have sand coloured leather and it has kept it looking great with no damage.

I dont have the vented leather seats, perhaps if you do, you might want to spray on to the cloth rather than the seat.

Oh yeah and for general dash / interior cleaning, nappy wipes and then a dry cloth work well too.
