Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

I have just received my IID Tool and ,,,,,, it doesn't want to start up Big Cry
I plug it in and get "IID Tool Ready" so I press resume for two-seconds and nothing happens , just a few seconds later the screen reverts back to where it was and I can't get the not ready message let alone the code .

Any ideas anyone ? 2008 MY Supercharged

What have I done ?

It gets worse , I was turning on a few things like alarm beep on lock when some thing I did went screwy and every thing went blank except the hand brake light flashing and after a while i tried to exit but now all i have is every thing inactive christmas tree lights including the black dot of tamper by the miles and the IID wont initiate any more and it won't start Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry
I think I am in big trouble but How do I fix this . I have contacted GAP but if there is any reassurance right now it would help Bow down

i would probably wait for the gap response but you 'could' do a battery disconnection to try and reboot everything, how to is in the wiki.. ... - .- -.

Later today Christian from Gap will try to hold a seance via laptop and gap tool with a remote controller to uncorrupt the CCF, fingers crossed he is confident he can do this as they predicted some numpty like me would eventually do this . 2008 MY Supercharged

All fixed Very Happy for two day now I have felt like Ken Bigley looking at a pen knife but Patrick and then Christian at GAP came through like troopers , Christian sent something like 19 emails yesterday with instruction and software uploads but nothing seams to work so today he connected my neighbours old laptop ( I don't have a PC ) and remote accessed my car via the IID Tool and found all my faults and rewrote my CCF, amazing to watch and I really cannot recommend their after sales serves highly enough Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Bow down Bow down

And now for all the blokes out there who like me just blunder through things like this ; RTFM and leave it alone until it says it's done , alright . Evil or Very Mad

Glad you got it sorted, The GAP staff really are the best when it comes to after sales support.

I would just like to add one more thing , in six years and two Range Rover L322's this is the first thing to go wrong and worry me and it had absolutely nothing to do with the car ( probably why I have never posted this much as well ) 2008 MY Supercharged
