Terrain Response 2: £100?

Hi all

Just noticed that terrain response II is an optional extra... anyone know what happens if it isn't selected? No terrain response at all? The old system? Seems strange...

Thanks in advance Thumbs Up

The vogue has terrain response and you can upgrade to get it to select the right program automatically. SE and ATB have as standard. I don't go off road that much and when I do it is it pretty simple stuff so figuring out which program to use shouldn't be a problem - always managed ok in my Discovery. £100 is nothing in the context of the overall price but I didn't specify because it seems to me it is the sort of thing that could wrong and prove a real pain. Geoff

The difference is if you have the full on TR2 it has a marking "Auto" and an orange light on the top of the selector, otherwise the selector doesn't have the Auto marking or the light.
New RRS doesn't even get a low box now unless you buy the £4000 extra Dynamic pack versions - all in the name of weight saving and CO2 tax reduction, so the new RRS is no longer a full off-roader in standard HSE or SE trim, it's just a fancy X5 or XC90 and considerably more expensive than either. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I thought the HSE could get the low box for £400 (off road pack). It didn't look like the SE could be spec'd with it.

They have sold thousands of Evoques with no low box and some of them spec'd must be close to the new semi-skimmed FF in price.

I have always liked the RRS and would have a new one over the Evoque any day, at least there isn't a two wheel drive version!

If it's £100 I bet a few minutes with an msv2 would enable it despite the lack of physical switch Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
