Are headlights programmable?

Hi all,

I understand that if I had an interface gadget (RSW, IID etc) that it is possible to configure certain functions.

I would like to have the indicators flash 3 times when just pulsed quickly with the stalk. is this poosible?

Also, I would like to be able to leave my headlight switch on all the time, but have the lights go out when I park the car and come back on as soon as I restart. Is this possible?

It's a 2004 model

thanks

The functionality is not in the ECU of older cars (my MY2006 doesn't have it either) so you can't activate it unfortunately. I have switched it on on my car but it doesn't work. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

I will try to find out if there is a firmware upgrade of the ECU that does have this software in it but I remember reading something on the BBS forum that it can't be done. So Craig is right, we need to upgrade to a newer car MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

I've configured my 2002 to turn on the lights when I start the car, then go out when I switch off. Its just the daytime running lights option. Works fine though
