I was reading an old Land Rover Owner magazine today and there was an article in it about the P38's. They reckon that so many P38's are ending up as sheds and being abused these days that a good one is hard to find.

They finished the article by saying that a good P38 will be a future classic like the current Classic RR is just now.

Just a thought if you're looking for something you can make tidy and keep good.

For what you bid on the Classic you'd get a nice 4.6 P38 as a starting point.

We've got two and they're not bad cars, nothing like the L322 obviously but quite characteristic.

Too right about fleabay. There are sooo many that are chancers now!
I spent ages last night looking at vehicles on there that were down as breakers and bits being sold off ebay yet the titles read as it was car for sale and clearly not, and then others that said spares when clearly the car was never really going to go back on the road for sensible money. i spent half my time reporting the dodgey adverts and some you could see the pictures told a different story!

i'd say about 1/10-1/5 are true and fair descriptions.

I always air on the side of caution with the stuff i stick on and cars especially as its better to over describe and have a happy person turn up that miss something and them whine and complain and ask for even more money off so i just stick to the honesty and long listing descriptions. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I bought a green soft dash LSE instead of the black 4d

I'll post some pics when its got a MoT and a few bits tidied up

PS - I've never seen a 3 page MoT failure before !
