M57 Cylinder numbering

Does anyone know for 100% if the cylinders are numbered 1-6 from rear to front or 1-6 Front to back?

IE is cylinder 6 at the flywheel end or is it cylinder 1??

I cant seem to find anything online easily and am stumped Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Im pretty sure 1 is the pulley end and 6 is the flywheel. Its usually french cars that are the wrong way round in my experience.

But i also cant find any confirmation of this either. So im not being that helpfull Whistle
