Air Suspension Height Anomaly

Hi,

The front of my 02 td6 appears to be at the off road height and the rear is also higher than normal.

I had a compressor issue and tried to re calibrate with the RSW all comms, however the EAS system wasn't 100% so it didnt work.

Even now that I have sorted the compressor issue I can't re calibrate.

How to I get it back to 'normal'?

Thanks

Not wanting to sound stupid, are you parking on level ground! After parking on a slope mine was on the wonky until i drove it again!

I suppose It's possible a level sensor is failing.

It's on all surfaces, I think the unsuccessful re calibration has caused the issue, I just need to know how to go back a step.

Battery disconnect resets it?

Have a look here for info. http://www.rangerovers.net/rrmkiiiremedies.html#suspension

Already tried it, no joy.

I think I've changed a setting on\in the ECU by partially completing the re calibration.

The software is up to date, might just pop to RCV and let them manually reset it with their super duper computer.

I had a similar problem when I calibrated my suspension using RSW Allcomms. The whole car just seemed too high and measurements confirmed it. Figured I had been measuring and calculating the values to enter into the software incorrectly, perhaps because i seem to be the only one left in thrld running on 18" rims. i just 'fudged' the values. In my case, everything seemed to be about 2" too high - so I just added 50mm to the values I entered in the software. Worked a treat. Hope this is of some help. Current: 2010 Range Rover L322

Many thanks, I'll give it another whirl, basically on mine I click get heights, input the respective values then hit calibrate and it does nothing, I might have to go back to RSW as it may be a fault with the software.

This chart may help you ( I run 18"s in the winter/summer)

I put this together because of the issue with different sized wheels.

I also found the issue when setting heights with the RSW, clicking on "GO" and nothing happens. This was usually trying to do a second calibration whilst plugged in. I don't think there is a software problem, just a communications glitch on occasion.

Run the car through the heights on the dash (Access/Std/Off Road) then try again with the RSW All Comms.

Also worth checking for faults in the EAS with the All Comms, and clearing them first. .

Your a star, checked the faults (none) and ran through the procedure again and it worked!!

The chart was a great help to, I'm about 5mm out but can live with that.

Thanks again.
