I had the drilled and grooved one from Britpart (I think) good discs and worked well. Bought them for their anti corrosion coating to prevent the rears looking awful due to corrosion on the lip. They worked very well and looked more substantial. Downside was under heavy braking say (70>10 on a motorway slip road) you could hear a quite loud fluttering as the slots wizzed by the pad. Sounded like a warped disc but no vibration. Just my 2p worth. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

No that's just to supply them. If you break it down the discs are £73 front £63 rear, pads front £62 rear £72 and the sensors are front £14 rear £12. When you add this up and add VAT...like I said if genuine parts could be sourced cheaper than I'd like to know. |

Well the hub part is the most annoying rust part and that can easily be painted.

Dan, discount appreciated but still coming in at quite a bit. What is the discount exactly! Is it free postage? Just looked at thee bay link above and they only supply one wear indicator per pair of pads and disc. Aren't the wear indicators fitted on each hub? |
