In a word: noisy.

They drone a fair bit at any speed and do seem to promote comedy understeer on wet roads. Fuel consumption was increased by 2-3 mpg too. However, they make the L322 an awesome offroader.

Nowadays I keep them on a spare set of rims and chop and change when I know I'm about to do some piste bashing. Not sure you should be reading this bit.
