Has your TV Tuner been upgraded to Freeview as it won't work (unless you're area hasn't gone fully digital yet)? Looks like it's a model year 2006 one like mine so you have to get an aftermarket upgrade as LR don't appear to be doing an in-house one. Steve

Erm no I dont think its been upgraded. I tried it on site, and it was the usual fuzzyness I expected from car TVs. I have read a few posts on hte upgrade, but the idea of making a massive effort to get the tv working doesnt seem worthwhile.

Mine had 4 out of 5 pretty good pictures until analogue went last year. I'd looked at after market units (£225-£395) but they just use the aux connectors in the armrest and an extra remote, but today, I went to my LR dealer to check tyre prices and asked if they'd had many people enquiring about upgrading the TV unit as I did at the end of last year. They said they had and one of the mechanics who was there said he thought there was an uppgrade available. Checked with parts dept and this time found there is (TV tuner must be touch screen version) , don't knwo when it became available , but it apparently just replaces the analogue unit as you would hope and integrates fully with the touch screen. I've ordered one (£297+vat!!!) but if it works, it's a good selling point on the car as oppossed to saying it just had 3 x screens for DVDs. I've got to decide whether to fit it myself or get the garage to do it. I'll check the manuals first! Steve
