Car for Xmas

Been looking about for a Tdv8 , after checking out a few sites there seems to be a glut of FFRR's in Tonga Green.

take it this is not a popular colour. ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Cheeky Fecker!

Mine's a Tonga!

Green used to be THE most popular until they started doing silver and black as mainstream choices.

I think the Tonga is a great 'country car' look in that it blends in, not too flash or showy, but dark and slightly sinister.

I won't have it next time simply cos I like to change colour each time I get a new car, but if there was a Tonga TDV8 with black interior going for the right money I'd most likely go for it.

PS: They never use Tonga ones at the Land Rover Experience centres or for demo cars! A great reason to buy one. Discovery 4 HSE

IMO it's a good colour just never had a car in green. This bit will defo get me in trouble but I can't live with the default choice of black or silver nothing personal just not me , and just for a bit of fun go to autoto trader and do a search for any ML and I mean any ML Mercedes regardles of age or price and they are all black or silver and for that reason alone I can't do it. England 2006 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zermatt Silver

I nearly bought a Tonga green RR, but the condition of that particular car wasn't in great shape, besides green is probably more suited to traditional British sport cars. I prefered silver simply because its easier to keep clean, it hides swirl marks very well, and I think it suit the RR perfectly, dark colour cars especially black would drive me crazy Evil or Very Mad

The only colour I would not go for is RED!!!

To be honest the first thing that comes into my head when i see a green rr is a vision of the late JIMMY EDWARDS that old geezer that had a moustache that could wrap round his head.

Suppose they also have that Aristocratic Gentlemen ( AIR , HAIR , LAIR ,) look about them ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Twisted Evil

My wife has a thing that green cars are unlucky - dont know where it stems from the crazy freak

I also know the car trade frown at them except on certain cars like LRs RRs Astons and any Britsh type car

Anyway everyone where i live has a black ffrr so i decided on silver to be a bit different. I must sat that nearly all my previous cars have been black and sometimes i wish i went for black but mine does stand out a bit more. If i had a green one i would have to leave it dirty as they look cool that way. But unfortunately im a clean car freak and have the car regularly cleaned for that showroom look - just my personal preference.

I'll take some pictures tomorrow before I finally get round to my car's bi-monthly wash!

Out shooting today and plenty of mud, puddles, floods and cow sh!t!

I think all Range Rovers look much more purposeful when they are dirty. People take much more notice of a dirty one than a sparkling one, because they're shocked someone actually uses a 62K car as it should be!

This time last year, mine was road-dirty rather than off road dirty...still looks good though.

Nope, fitted the wheels and lamp guards in the last 3 months or so, its the same car, looks quite different though hey?

Have toyed with the idea of fitting the A frame bar with driving lights but I like the front end shape too much. Discovery 4 HSE
