Having read through a few forum posts, it seems that the advice is "not to go to any old Joe Soap" to get performance and fuel economy remapping.

Has anyone got any recommendations about getting Remapping Services in Ireland?

Go to Dublin or don laughrie port, Catch a ferry across and go to either JE or BAS for a remap

I think the BlackBox diagnostic tool can apply remaps but you'd need to check if its possible with Colin at BBS  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.

BBS Faultmate uses JE remaps if I remember correctly. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

BAS would be a good option - Pete will send you out a box that you plug in and download the map - dead simple and no need to go anywhere

Bought a BAS Box from Bell Auto Services (via post).

The 3.6L remap is GREAT. I had one BAS Box on my TDV6 Disco, is was good, really, but unleashing the TDV8 is wonderfull

Aftersale service is second to none too.

I too am extremely interested in this Dave. I'm seriously considering the ferry to JE but its working out pretty expensive.
