2003 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Java Black

differences between rear wiper motors between model years?

Hi Guys

Im on the look out for a new rear wiper motor and i have been offered one from a 2009 range rover the part number is different to the earlier motor and i have checked mircocat and they look very similar apart from the location of the electrical connections does anyone know if the later motor will work in my 2003 range rover

The part number for the older style motor is DKD000030
The part number for the 2009 style motor is LR010920

I think its due to the change in the electronics in the car as the 09 one is likely to be MY10-12 models using the newer electronic systems.

You may be able to get away with swapping the electrical connection parts over from your one to the new one but on a warranted unit i wouldn't bother. IIRC they are about £130 or less i think. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
