I have a 07 Vogue TDV8 that has a couple of annoying problems, firstly the steering column occasionaly does not drop down when ignition switched on so have to manually adjust, then sometimes with the engine running and I get out of the car to unlock my gate the steering drops to its lowest position.

My only advice is that while its under warranty don;t let the dealer fob you off, keep taking it back, if neccesary get Land Rover themselves involved via their Customer Services dept. Discovery 4 HSE

The only reason i asked was when i had a battery drain it hightlighted as a problem with the Sat Nav which was then highlighted that this was possibly caused by the the Tracker electrical feed off the Sat Nav. This problem hasnt been solved yet but will be on the next visit to the garage but a temporary problem was to disconnect the Sat Nav to stop the drain. So far this was sucessful.

Thanks for that full fat I will get tracker connection checked - I have had a couple of false calls over the past few months from tracker so this may be related and worth having checked. |
