try again

Don't know if this is the right place, here goes,
I was supposed to be picking up my 2004 4.4 Saturday but some dick of a non franchise dealer has given me the runaround (details when I get my deposit back!! Censored ) as a result I am now once again looking for a FFRR 2004-06 4.4vogue black or silver under 100000miles FSH. As close to the west midlands as possible.
Still searching in the normal places.

Thanks all.

steve

Good luck with your search. Just a comment, your specifications include both the BMW and Jag powered models. They really are different beasts. You may want to narrow your search.

I may be treading on some people's strongly held beliefs, but.... Shocked

I asked a few Rover mechanics before purchasing mine and the unanimous recommendation was for the Jag powered ones. I ended up with a MY2008 and I'm very happy with it. It seems to ride better than the earlier cars I test drove. Thumbs Up

The problem with the BMW ones may be that your mechanic needs to be both a BMW and a land rover specialist - not exactly a common qualification. Smile

Who ever would of thought that statement would ever be said and be true!

Never experienced the BMW engine but the 4.2 AJV8 is an awsome thing.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

I got mine from Motorseeker in Chesterfield.

Not on your doorstep I know, but not a million miles either.

Worth putting them in Google and looking at their web site.

If you give them a call, they may be able to source a car to your spec.

Lee is the man to speak to.

Tell him Mark on the Range Rover forum sent you !!

The Jag 4.4 AJV8 is better but more expensive.

A well looked after M62 4.4V8 can be also good engine and is cheaper.

Therefore depends on budget really Thumbs Up

PS: Both will return over 20mpg on a longish 80mph Motorway trip.

They did not sell many due to the TDV8 & Supercharged.
