Thanks Guys for the help. I have got money towards a new unit / screen and I have taken delivery of the car. Rolo your car sounds like a good deal but I wanted a 12/12.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Orkney Grey

well done, Thumbs Up
must be one of the last SE's they made before going to the Westminster, the leather in the SE really is so much nicer Bow down

Mine was one of the 1st MY12's Cool When I ordered I thought I was getting the 2011 spec, but they just finished those & went on with the 2012 version for September 2011 so turned out good.
I'm not selling for the moment anyway as I'm not so keen on the new L405 at the moment....the dealer just gave me a price to see if I would change....sure it will grow on me though Whistle

The leather was one of the main reasons I chose the SE. I always thought my Vogue was sumptuous but this is a whole new world. I had been offered several westminsters but it felt like a sideways step. I have fallen in love with the L405 and I am sure in 12 months time when there are plenty out on the market I will be trading up but I need to save some penny's up first.

The only disappointing bit of my car are the style 11 wheels. I really want a set of style 18 but I can't find a set anywhere.

Thumbs Up

have to say I like my style 11's Whistle

Try Dan at Duckworth parts, he might be able to get some http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/duckworth-parts-vf24.html

or someone on here might have a set they're willing to part with. I can't seem to find a picture of 18's so not sure which ones they are.

United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Indus Silver

Is the screen definitely scratched or just marked due to something spilt on it?

I tried and failed to get mine changed under warranty a year or so ago. I was told that the marks that I couldn't wipe off with the micro fibre cloth were actually coke stains, as in the drink! These were from the first owner and I was told there was nothing that could be done.

I decided to clean the screen with a baby wipe and found that the screen wasn't actually damaged just the protective coating was marked, I understand that this coating is to help reduce finger print marks. Anyway with a little pressure the coating can be removed and the screen looks as good as new. Thumbs Up

It works as it should and I cannot see any increase in finger marks so for me was the perfect solution! If you are intending replacing the unit why not try a baby wipe first? You could save yourself a fortune, even if the dealer has contributed to the cost Laughing

Update.... The scratch is way too deep to do anything with. We had the top of the dash up and found that it was a DENSO unit. I found that DENSO offer a repair service for Nav devices and they have said it will be 250 Euros for a new screen. Very Happy

My next problem is getting it out Crying or Very sad
