the car has gone for a inspection and requires a full gearbox recon, so the dealer has agreed to pay 75% and ill cover the rest.

its in now getting done.

Nice to see a positive outcome

Out of interest, what was involved in the gearbox inspection?
Eg: Did it all need stripping down ? Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

Yeah it was removed from the car and inspected, the tc was goosed and lots of metal debris in the oil, so it's been reconditioned
