Private plates

Iv had my eye on a private plate for a while, it's on the dvla website, if I buy it online how long is the process before I can actually have it on my car, never bought one before but remember my dads taking an forever, cheers in advance

DVLA plates only take abot 5 days for you to get the V750....

Just bought one myself.

If I remember the paperwork for purchase comes through pretty quick, maybe a week?

Takes up to 10 working days to put on car if you do by post.
Best way is to visit local DVLA office, queue up and you get it all done there & then

Thumbs Up Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

the local DVLA offices no longer do that because akaik they are all closing...they check the paperwork and send it off themselves... ... - .- -.

Shame ! I did it both ways... Was SO much easier to get all done in the office Thud Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

The local DVLA offices that are still open are providing the service as before.....at the moment.
Don't know how long for.
