Switzerland 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

To be honest, in Range Rover territory £7k isn't a lot to risk. Many are loosing more than that in a year just in depreciation. You could get 3-5 years out of that without problems or it could go pop tomorrow, either way it's not an awful lot to loose on a car that's so expensive to run.

Good luck buddy. As long as you enjoy the car and you get some years out if it, you wont lose much for a full fat!

It's all part of the lottery of life! You can have a brand new car that goes pop after a week and a 1/4 of a million miler that could go on for years! Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I first read this some years ago, and it's still probably some of the best advice I've ever seen on buying cars:

Having had a couple of said German motors, Henry is well know for his pragmatic, and some would say, eccentric, view on buying and selling cars. Thing is, he knows his onions and I can't recall ever seeing a bad word said against him, so he's obviously doing something right! Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover SE Td6 Zermatt Silver

Flash Cars with big engines often have lots of owners and although this puts people off the car is probably as good as a two owner. These cars change hands due to high cost of ownership rather than anything being wrong with them. High number of owner cars can be a bargain if buying for keeps as owners struggle to sell.

I got cold feet on the mega miler!

Decided against low budget FFRR ownership! Just getting a Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 whilst my budget is low, then will get the FullFat when I can get the right one, which will be either a TDV8, or an '07 facelift Supercharged!

Any advice on the Jeep (silly question in this forum I know!). Rolling Eyes Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

The ad says "Looks and drives like new"

At 204,000 miles I think I would dispute that no matter how nice it looks or seems, a classic misinterpretation of the truth.

That's the highest mileage Range Rover I think I have EVER seen in my life, you won't even find any Classics or P38s with that much on them.

All I can say is best of luck and hope it doesn't blow up, leaving you with a bill that's more than you paid. Discovery 4 HSE
