I've had my bm54 upgraded and a aux input done to it so I can play the sound for
rear screens through speakers and still hear sat nav.

My questions are,

Since this upgrade my CD player now displays TR rather than CDC before

does this mean I can now get cd text???

I think that only works when a mp3 player is installed. But I'm not sure. cars on the side;

Yes, mine says "TR" too.

You need to upgrade to the later 6 disk CD Multichanger that also plays mp3's......then the track name will be displayed on the screen.
