any advance on 49K ...............

Just got an offer of £49K for P/Ex from my STEALER, yes I capitalise, cause at this price he should be locked up Evil or Very Mad
Especially when he tells me a Westminster is better than an SE (no offense to Westy owners, but you don't have SE seating) As usual none of the extra's make a blind bit of difference to what they will offer.

61 Plate September 2011 (but 2012 MY with black surrounds etc) Vogue SE, Orkney 4.4 TD V8
Extras : Dual View, Side Steps, Rear Reclines with Rear Cooled Seats, Rear Entertainment, Privacy Glass.
Only 3,600 miles !!!!!! Embarassed
Needless to say It's showroom condition.

Gaz, would you be kind enough to check the book value for me ?
Thanks. Thumbs Up

Thanks Gaz, what do you feel a fair price offer would be ? The extra's mounted up to about 6K from memory, but I guess they are worthless in value, just make it more saleable. Bit like a house with a conservatory or new kitchen Laughing
I was told they'd want to retail it at £52 / 53K which seems very low for such a spec & mileage, hence the 49K offer.

So I should expect another 10K off in 6months Jim !! Censored
I blame the L405 launch Laughing Laughing

At their offer, I'd be expected to pay about 38K for a new equivalent model. That's only cost me about 2K a month in loss, ha ha, bet the tax man won't even let me de-value it by that much Rolling Eyes

They will retail @ £55k and should give you £51k (at least) as they are making profit from the sale of the L405.

Depends on what new car discount you are getting I guess....

Big difference from Rolo's valuation and the one I got...ok mine is a 2010 with 34,000 miles but still that's a scary difference Shocked

Laughing Laughing Discount - you are kidding !

"No discounts available sir" "We still don't discount the Evoque as we can't make enough to keep up demand"

That's why I thought they would have given a strong offer as they'll make from the new sale, plus they should have no problem selling mine.

I'm pretty sure I won't change, unless the next L405 I drive has improved on the noise level, but it's good to know the value of what is fair should a deal happen.

thanks again Thumbs Up

Just been offered 45K for my 11 plate SE with 10K miles , as new condition quite a few extras on it !
Pal of mine has a westminster he was told by his dealer to expect Vogue resale pricing not SE prices.
Still not sure to sell or keep to be honest. Far to many gone...

Jim, I think we have to wait 3 or 4 years before they stop loosing 10 - 15K a year Shocked

It just annoyed me a little cause his reasoning was we have Westminsters on 12 plates for about 58K / 60K.
So they're 6 months newer, lesser spec + more miles, yet mine supposed to be worth 8 K less - that's not quite right. A better spec car slightly older, much less miles should be worth nearly as much.

Maybe the SE is a non sought after spec after all Rolling Eyes

Sounds like they do use the same book then as that makes sense.

Have you got the new one yet ?

Forgot to say, they wouldn't give a fixed price especially if I order as it might be worth nothing in 6 months Big Cry
I'd have to sell it to them now to guarantee the part/ex value
