Seasonal prices

Much as I want to get back into a Range Rover, I'm put off at the moment by some of the silly prices being asked due to the seasonal effect. So I'm thinking of selling the XC90 now, whilst the seasonal effect is still working, maybe getting a convertible or something for a short time, to sell in the summer, when I'll be able to get a FFRR for less money.

So what sort of car would be a good bet to buy now and sell on in July/ August? Having taken a bath on a couple of Range Rover purchases, I want to get into my next one at the right money, do it up, and keep it forever, ideally a 2007 MY, which I'll facelift to 2012.

Thoughts gents? Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Audi a4 convertible around 05-06 for much cheapness and very little or no depreciation.

A facelift or pre-facelift? How about this one?

A lot of car for the money. Maybe worth seeing what they are selling for on eBay and what engine sells the best ?
