Tyre Pressure Sensors

I bought a set of brand new TPMS sensors off eBay. Bargain £31 for 4

Dumb question... How are they powered? Do they have batteries ? Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

Yes , car enabled for TPMS

Had a bloody shocker.. Day I picked it up , needed petrol... Funny that Rolling with laughter
Car dash said 29 psi in tyres ...
Went to petrol station, as it happened Air pump was free.

Put 50p in machine, stuck hose on 1st tyre, pumped up... Fookin valve came off with the hose!

Welcome to FF ownership !? Stuck spare on, limped to local tyre place , naturally didn't have TPMS lying around , so stuck a regular rubber valve on.

Bloody warning light been lit ever since Censored Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

+1 Thumbs Up They are a pain in the butt. I turned mine off as well and fitted rubber valves

The TPMS sensors contain a battery, so you will get problems in cold weather when the batteries get to cold to produce enough power for the sensor to report or in a few years when the batteries die 56 TDV8 Vogue SE
