Hi all,

I take it it's not worth mentioning then,
I've benn quoted 270 euros (250quid) the part is only (45quid) is it such a big job that it warrants 200 quid labour costs or is he taking the micky?

cheers for any info

difficult to say whether the price you have ben quoted is good or not as you live in germany and costs are different there..
the few german members on the forum might not have had done or know the cost of this replacement, but your quote seems about right.. ... - .- -.

Thanks Stan,

quick reply,
I was told it's an hours job at the outside!! just seems a trifle steep for an hours work, 200 quid an hour aint at all bad..........I'm in the wrong job! I'll have to approach Land Rover for a job!!

cheers

The problem is the old sensors seize in and have to be removed bit by bit. I would say 2 hours maximum for this.
