afaik, the mk4 reads dvd's not cd's.... ... - .- -.

It has been a while since i did one but that's how I remember it. Burn it on a good quality disc at as slow a speed as your burner will allow. It is possible you have a duff image. Also are you sure its a MKIV? I don't recall a MKIV with a monochrome screen, but I could be wrong. Check the model you have against the one shown here

Yes, it is BMW diagnostic and coding software. I have it, but its a 30GB virtual machine. It is not straightforward to build one and you need all the software, plus the correct version. Also I dont believe it works with Range Rovers |

What car did it come out of? If you know someone with BMW that has sat nav using a MKIV you could recode it in that using GT1 |

Navcoder is very limited in comparison, plus it needs a separate interface attached to the K bus to work DIS came first |
