Nice one Jay, I was also tempted & you got it for a very good price

Also, try & check out the early history as I have a Jaguar XJ12 Series 3 with a factory reg H.....KAC that was used by HM QE2 for the first 2 1/2 years so this may also have some interesting history which will mean that it was thoroughly checked over and hand finished when new.

Ok will ask around I think the window reg is also the same as the disco 1 as the doors are similar if not the same. has the seat motor been proven faulty as my old disco had electric operated seats and it was the switches that gave trouble they are expensive even second hand and are full of springs and ball bearings for the switch contacts be very careful if you take it apart to clean the contacts or you will have a handful of parts I will ask around for a scrap seat you could use for spares but they are quite hard to find,but will ask around

Nice looking car.

I saw something similar when we went to view a 2004 FullFat. It was the car that previously wore the VRM that was written off, not the FF.

We've just had the headlining retrimmed by a local guy in Glasgow (Kelvin Coach trimmers) and he's done a fantastic job. He had a headlining for a classic Range Rover there that he'd done but the guy had never been back to collect it. Can ask him how much he wants for it if you want Jay?

I would be very appreciative if you could as the car doesn't have a roof lining at all.

I have spoken to the current owner and he has assured me that the car is in perfect order with the exemption of the few things listed.

I think i will restore the car and show it.

Does this one have a sunroof Jason? From memory I think the one he has is a non sunroof headlining.

The steering box arrangement will certainly make the handling a bit more "interesting" then the rack and pinion arrangement on the FFRR.

The Classic's are nice cars, we had two of them new. a 3.5 V8 EFi and a 3.9 soft dash Vogue SE, we kept an eye out for a good soft dash LSE but there was never a good one about.

There were wheels similar to that one on the Classic, they were on our 3.9 but I think those ones are Discovery wheels.
