Suspension height

I have recurring problem with what sounds like something rubbing very heavily against front wheel on cornering in my 4.2s/c.

The problem arises when running slowly around town, usually when cornering round roundabouts or similar right hand turns at low speed. The nearside front corner feels as thoughit is being dragged down and sounds as though it is grinding against the wheel. The steering feels as though something is dragging against the wheel also.

It is fairly dramatic and the first time, I tnought something was caught under the vehicle.

So far, nobody has been able to provide an explanation.

Any thoughts would be welcome.

Have you tried it at all 3 heights?? Other than that could the brake be binding? Is the wheel hotter to the touch on that side? Previously..

This does not happen every time and so I have not tried it at all heights. However, I will do an experiment this weekend. I have wondered whether the low speeds at which this happens suggests that the suspension is too low due to some fault. Therefore, I will do the experiment at the low setting to see if it happens more freqently.

As for the brakes, they are in good order and there is no sign of heat.

correct size wheels/tyres?

would you say the steering is heavy when slowing down and going round a roundabout for instance, if so it could be your servotronic valve that needs replacing, but this doesnt explain the grinding noise though.. ... - .- -.

Wheels and tyres all in good shape and steering recently overhauled. This has been happening intermittently over a year or so.
