Replacing Air suspension this weekend

OK - I bit the bullet and have 2 new front air suspension legs coming for replacement this weekend (as my FR has blown)

I also got new lower bolts as I hear they can be a pain.

Is there anything special I need to know before I start or a step guide to help me..?

I gather I need to depressurise the bags first (completely..?)
Liberally spray bolts with WD
Jack car up
Remove wheels
Undo lower bolts
then middle
then Engine bay
then air hose
then remove

Fit in reverse order
Then calibrate (with newly aquired IID tool Smile )

Anything I missed.?

Thanks folks (and wish me luck) Ash

I did mine a couple of months ago, took less than an hour with two of us, my friend had done several before. Would advise having the means to support the hub either blocks of wood or another jack. Oh and you're gonna need a GOOD breaker bar because Jeez are those bolts tight !!

Good luck Thumbs Up ...Always time for a brew !!

Early update...

Got home - had tea - got impatient so thought I'd put the car up on axle stands, remove the wheels and squirt in penetrating fluid ontp the bolts and let them do their stuff ready for a 9am start...

Well - got even more impatient and got 600mm socket lever out and all four lower bolts turned (with a bit of effort)..!!

Left it there for tonight but it seems the really hard part may not be so hard after all.

(Now I've just jinxed the rest of the job) Ash

Final update from me.....

ALL DONE - And actually quite pleased with myself. Didn't struggle too much but would have been easier with 2 people. approx 1 hr per corner.

Daunting moment was turning the car on once it was back on the ground but all four corners rose and sat nice and level. Went for a test (actually down the dump to take the old suspension away) and all was fine so job well done.!

Thanks for you guidance. Ash

Not as far as I know. Turned the car on and it all kicked into life.

Did take a while to rise but I guess that's because I used the IID to empty the corners prior to doing the job.

I did incidentally configure park/exit mode to be 15mm lower than standard and was amazed at how much easier it is to get/out when down. Ash

I suppose as long as the height sensors are not touched there is no reason why it would need calibrated? It would just inflate until it reached the point the sensor says stop.
As for easy entry/exit, that's why god invented side steps! Thumbs Up Previously..
