United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Orkney Grey

absolutely ridiculous !
hell no Twisted Evil

If I had 40K to blow on a classic, it would need to be re-built factory spec 100% perfect. That looks like a pimped piece of turd in my eyes Laughing

The tyres look stupid too

Interesting to see that Graeme Hunt is putting some of his cars into a classic auction.

The GH CSK is nice but I'd still prefer this over it....

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

CSK's are still (relatively) plentiful and have been recognised as future classics. That fact alone means all those remaining are going to be saved now. That's a good thing in itself but it also means that grotty un-restored ones will fetch a lot less than lovely clean original ones. In between will be the resorations in varying standards of quality.

40 grand though?? A bit steep for that. It's a standard 4 door Vogue with no remarkable rarity bits. Interior's a bit marmite as well.

Considering that (if you can find one) an Overfinch 570 can be had for a lot less, what would you do? Rarer, nicer, smoother, and a proper talking point.

Ultimately a car is only worth what the highest bidder will pay, and unless it's really rare then almost all punters will simply say "NEXT!" and move on.

That said, how about some of these beauties?? Big numbers and all based on rarity.

For me, I have to fully agree with Mark regarding the 2-door models he's posted as the most desirable.

I'd buy either of those two in a heartbeat if I had undercover space for them.

Mick's model.... Agree that the interior is in bad taste, but trimmed in black (or tan... Laughing ) would improve it no end. The wheels? Much as I love the Rostyle design, those lack the silver paint required to make them stand out properly and the offset is far too large. It's all a trifle excessive in looks, which goes against the restrained grain of a RR. And £40k is way off. But, as the ad says, they make to order and one hopes their customers have more taste. Si. <This is my name.
