I was really impressed by all LR models (Freelander, Disco, Sport and FFRR) at the recent LR Offroad experience at Buckingham we went to recently - each vehicle completed the course without any trouble or getting stuck at/avoiding any obstacle.

I doubt they would let you drive them somewhere they were likely to get stuck, as it's partly a PR exercise. I remember an instructor at a LR experience site telling us to avoid rocks in the FFRR as it had "low profile" tyres and they had to pay for any damage. In the defender, they just let us get on with it. |
