Just picked my ff up from north eastern 4x4, I booked I in to get the suspension calibrated as it was sitting low at the rear, now it looks like a proper range rover, only charged me £57 and they checked the smoke I was worried about coming from the oil filler and said its nothing to worry about and stuck a new battery in one of my key fobs, happy days, the list of 'things to do' is getting smaller, going to get it booked in for the few bubbles under the arches next, glad iv decided to keep it

They kinda worm their way into you affection, mine was starting to annoy me with all of the little things going wrong, however then came the floods and snow and all is forgiven, after all when i look back on the cars ive had none has been totally reliable, with the exception of the darn skoda (would love to say its but its just not), so keeping it is definitely the way to go.

Keep on patching it up and soldiering on.....

I remember the classic my old man bought newish in the 80's, by the time it went it was more weld than original car, knackered engine and trannie, but it kept on going well into the late 90's with around 200k on the clock. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
