I believe the only route is a new key from LR. £££ |

No but you have to do both keys within about 30 seconds or so i had to do it a couple of times as i was a bit slow on getting the button sequence of pat. |

I bit the bullet and ordered a key. It arrived i just over a week and came with a complimentary sweetie.

If you buy a blank off ebay and have a good cut key but whose electronics are duff (but with a working transponder) its a relatively easy thing to gently heat the metal part til you can pull it free (it melts the small platic dowel through the metal part), swap them over and araldite into the new holder with transponder swapped across.
