Ligtweigt caravans

Hi,
I am just wondering if anybody has or knows of a decent caravan under the 750kg towing limit that us post 1997 drivers have to adhere too if we went to pull it with a full fat rangey. We are not allowed over the combined 3500kg if a trailer is >750kg
Thanks
Josh

It would have to be a trailer tent to even try and get under the weight …
Go and do the test it's not to bad and it will teach you to be a better driver when towing, as I found out Smile

I will agree with Brian do the test it's not that hard then you can tow what you like as long as its not over the max weight for the car. So with the ffrr you can tow up to 3500 kg which puts the train weight over the limit of your current licence but its allowed with the addition of the trailer section

I'd no idea their was now a separate test. Although I don't need it I think it makes sense. Just because you have a car license doesn't mean you know how to use a 3.5 ton trailer. I think I'd have found the training beneficial, and who really wants to learn the hard way with 3.5 tonnes?
