I would recommend these tyres to anyone.
We have had up to 12" of snow in places and they haven't missed a beat.
The road to my house is very steep and very icy again no problems at all. i can even stop the car on the hill and move off without a murmur.

A top choice of winter tyre. Also very good for the money.

A big thumbs up from me.

I paid £540 cash.

It included fitting and the wheel swop.

I know the tyre fitter so maybe i had a good deal.

They are good for all year round and you only get i little road noise when doing about 5MPH

The size i went for is 275.45.20 as i had a spare set of wheels

As said earlier in the thread, i run these permanently on my truck in 305/40/22 guise and they are fantastic... We have around 5-6" of snow here but have drifts upto 18" deep and they have not faultered at all...

Just drove home in the snow, not impressed with my LTZ's overy AT2's, little directional control, enough to concern me whereas the AT2's gave me confidence, or it could be the wrong kind of snow!

Should be remembered they may be good in new snow but they are NOT Winter Tyre Compound.....

Agree, LTZ in the snow are not my first choice, and when compacted can be fun.

Not questioning you (as you obviously an expert, as you sell tyres) but can you explain in simple terms why?

Mine works brilliantly all year round... I have a Disco 3 here with GG winter tyres on it and feel more confident in my truck! or is this a weight/different car thing?

I believe its mainly down to a softer "Silica" compound that stays soft and grippy when temperatures are below 7 degree Celsius. There are also special "Sipes" that allow slush and snow to be quickly expelled as well a a tread pattern that suits grip on snow/ice rather than Mud.
