United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue
Wanted: TDV8 Vogue SE - upto £20k budget

Hello all,

I'm on the lookout for a TDV8 Vogue SE; ideal spec as follows:

Dark colour - prefer black/grey
Light interior
Privacy glass
Park heating
Tow bar
Mileage less than 90k
FSH

Budget is upto £20k, but I'd really like to find something closer to the £18k mark.

Thanks,

Keith

Hello Keith, and welcome.

OK, first observations are that it would have to be a very ealry car to get inside your budget. This white stuff does tend to firm up prices.

Being pragmatic you're more likely to find a Vogue. SE's command a higher price and there are less of them out there.

Price wise, to give you an idea, I was offered 19k trade-in from a main dealer for mine with 99k on the clock. That was against a 2010 Supercharged model which had a modest profit going by CAP.

Specs wise, Park heat was standard on all diesels with the TDV8 in. Ugly-kid windows are (thankfully) rarer but if you really want them they can be added by a decent tinting company. Light interiors are common on dark cars, except black where there were also a lot of black interiors. Greys seem to have Ivory or Sand for some reason.

Towbars can be added as needed and don't cost a fortune.

Best bet would be to contact Gazellio on this forum. If it can be got he usually knows where from.

Hope this helps.

Dom

Seen this one? Slightly above your budget but am sure you can negotiate down somewhat and if that is genuine mileage doesn't look to be a bad deal.

Happy to wait until the winter panic buying is over if necessary. All points taken on board, aware it'll be a tall ask to get my wish list. What are the main differences between the vogue and se models?

Nbunny, what's the full spec of yours and price please?

Is that right on the se extras?

I presume some were options on vogue as mine has the adaptive xenons and electrochromatic mirrors?

I orginally wanted the se but to be honest unless you really need the rear ent dont rule out the vogue as you are more likely to find a one in your budget L405 4.4 SDV8 Santorini/Black VSE

I don't think rear screens were always standard on SE's

Mine will be up for sale in about a week. 2008/08 TDV8 Vogue (not SE though) 86k miles, black, ivory and piano black. Factory tow bar, park heat etc.

Bit up on what you wanted to pay at £22k but maybe an option? Lloyd Barnes

Hi Lloyd,

Sounds like a brilliant car, but I fear what I want to pay may not be near what you're advertising for.

I've a strict budget to play with and my last week of searching on AT would suggest I should be able to find one near the 18k figure. Cognisant that prices are a lot firmer in the winter months so I'm quite happy to wait a little longer to find one if necessary

I'll keep yours in mind though and if you're flexible on the figure you want to achieve please let me know.

Kind regards,

Keith
