After buying my 2004 vogue knowing its mk3 satnav unit was dead I was lucky to find baris!
He sent me a updated mk4 unit with 2012 disk and WOW.
So much more up to date looks and use!

I can highly recommend this guy for sat nav upgrades!
Also nice to have a splash screen again!!

The only other thing I want to add at some point is an iPod/iPhone connection to the system.

You have a few options, depending on how much you want to spend.

The best of the best, is the intravee, as it will display all tracks on screen, and you can control everything from the car. This is about £250 for a used one.

I make my own connections, using the AUX input. A simple 3.5mm jack cable is £20. Your bm54 would most likely need a firmware upgrade, to recognize the AUX mode. You then have other options, like a ipod cable, which will also charge the device, and also my bluetooth music streaming.

All these options, accept the intravee, require modification on the bm54 unit.
