just put a 2.1 soundbar up in my sons bedroom and connected to the sky hd box via optical cable, but i only get sound from the soundbar when sky box audio is set to 'normal' and nothing on 'dolbyd'...any ideas? ... - .- -.

Does the sound bar truly support Dolby d?? I think I've read of issues like this Before on the av forums.

sky outputs 5.1 but thats all the range up to 5.1 including 2.1 apparently ..soundbar defo takes 2.1..i have googled Will but found nothing... ... - .- -.

Is there a mode button on the sound bar.

You will need to have 2 HDMI Leads for it to work
HDMI from your sky through the sound bar to the tv

press the mode and switch it to AUX it should work through all chanels then.

Jayboy, sky hd won't output anything more than stereo Over hdmi

I can't put my finger on it stan but it sounds familiar.. Have you tried joinin and searching the av forums?
