FFRR jealousy?

Does anyone else get this? When I am trying to emerge from a side road or a junction, all I get are people in other cars quickly closing up the gap so I cannot get out. In the 4 years I've had this car, I can count on one hand how many times I've been allowed to cut into a line of traffic.

I had one old git in an old M reg mondeo estate do it last night- one of those islands that used to be a straight ahead road with a side right turning. I appreciate we give way to traffic from the right on island, but traffic was at a standstill and I'd been waiting a while at the give way line. Cars to my right just kept approaching the island at speed and driving past me and this chap nearly run into the car in front so that I wouldn't pull out in front of him. Eventually, a merc ML stopped and let me out.

I only seem to ever be let out of junctions by drivers of similar vehicles. I can't believe people can be so petty

Over all not too bad on being let in though but the odd one needs teaching a lesson, amazes me how they think a little saloon can bully a FFRR Rolling with laughter One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Never have any problem being let out of side roads by other road users big or small. I do however let other people out routinely.
I think it helps never being in a hurry. Smile

I had major problems pulling out of a side road on Monday when the roads were gridlocked because of the snow. After ten cars had crawled past with only millimetres beytween them it was obvious that they all blamed me for the weather!
I ended up turning the opposite way, drove all the way around the industrial estate I was on, along roads three inches deep in snow (nobody else tried it) and emerged at the exit roundabout in front of those who had refused to let me out of the junction. Oh how I sniggered.......
I love my Full Fat even if other people don't!
Thumbs Up

Its that old 4x4 thing, in my opinion, even if our FFRR ran on water & the only thing that came out of the exhaust was chanel perfume they'd still hate us. They simply do not like to be looked down upon, so they should head back to the "loser lane" where they belong. My Mrs says that she has no trouble getting out at junctions but I think its to do with the fact that she's kinda busty Whistle She's kinda like a photo finish in a ZEPPLIN race Shocked I on the other hand am 6ft 2in square so bullying my way out is my prefered method Twisted Evil The reason women's minds are cleaner than a mans mind is that women change their minds more often!
When women say fine a mans in deep doodoo as fine has so many meanings.

Think it has to do with location as well I'm in Cheshire and there are literally thousands of range rovers here and I rerely have problems getting out of junctions as nearly every other car is a range rover or some other sort of presteige car lol

All depends on how you attempt to exit the side road/junction.

Try and force your way out or edge out and you usually find you're in for a long wait.

Sit back slightly and acknowledge the other driver with a nod and a smile and they can't help you enough. Thumbs Up
