2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aintree Green

Reliability (or not)

Both Tom Ford and Colin Goodwin (motoring journalists) have had L405s which "failed to proceed". Whilst the excuse may be that they were both pre-production models, they're press cars - you would hope they had at least been looked over before being sent out.

Bad luck or are Land Rover really missing something?

My brother has put his delivery date back to June for this reason. Why take a chance on an early model from the first batch? Hopefully all the niggles will be sorted by then. As for press cars breaking down, I'm sure some journalists will try and break things so they can make a story of it. Previously..

Jim... I had one last year for a day, courtesy car, and I seem to remember when you redline it the noise was pretty good. As in like a sports car kind of throaty exhaust noise. Previously..
