So long for now.

Ta ta for now good people of FFRR.

I'm not exactly a prolific poster on here, but I generally have 5 or 6 tabs open on my computer and this site is always one of them. It's been an invaluable source of information, not just to sort any niggles as they arose ( very, very few!) but just a really informative and mostly amusing website.

However, the time has come to change my car and I can't justify the extra to a 4.4 TDV8, the 3.8TDV8 just isn't sufficiently better than my AJV8 in any department (IMHO) to warrant being at least double the value. I'll wait a while for the big diesel to come down to my budget.

Anyway, whilst mooching around some dealers today, I was offered a fair trade in price agains a new car ( sadly not another FF) so in a few days time ill be FF-less.

It's always nice to get into a new car, but I'll be genuinely sad to see the big old girl go.

Hopefully I'll be back soon, its the only car I've ever owned two of and would happily have another Smile

All the very best.

Jason.

Hi Jayboy,

You're bang on the money there. I get picked up in Merc s classes and 7 series BMs for work and neither have the special feeling the FF has. I even got picked up in a Maybach once, still preferred mine Rolling with laughter

Ok, will stick some pictures up if you promise to stifle the sniggers Smile

Haha, well I could sell either a full set of rubber mats, or a set of Stratsone Black carpet mats?

Got a nice condition ox ( sandy colour) rear parcel shelf and retractable load net.

And a very cool set of VanX tailored rear screens that fit perfectly every window rear of the B pillar.

If any of that interests you?

Oh yes and a pristine pair of late model supercharged side vents. The ones with the 3 fins across the top, 2009-2010 model I think? But fit all models I'm assured.

People have mistaken them for tints, the fit is excellent. Obviously not as flawless as tints, but cheaper and like me you can sell them for your money back when you sell the car. Not everyone likes dark windows!

The quality of them is superb. I actually got a bargain and am selling for the same but I'd have happily paid double. (£100)
