Sounds like a bargain Mick. Did a meercats and the cheapest that came up for the ff was £516 from Axa but couldnt protect the NCB.

If i could put swmbo's. car on her own insurance for cheap enough then i would, her car spends more time in the spray booth than most and i think from memory that the vrs only cost 300 ish for the year. My 535d turned out to be remarkably cheap to insure...... Go figure.

Non fault claims didnt seem to make a difference to the quoted as i priced the insurance with and without them for a comparison. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

The reason they gave Mick was that there are more claims on TDV8s, therefore, in their terms, that makes it more of a risk????? Censored Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Just had my renewal £737 !!! Direct Line (year old, 4.4 TDV8 SE + extras)

Did a quick online quote with them and came back as only £385 for same cover, but limited to 50K value, although no extra's added on - they class factory fitted options as modifications even though they say it doesn't add to the cost.

Called them to find out why and they had the value as £75K, yet they will only pay out market value ? so why charge more when they'll never pay that out ! Censored

Tried several others including comparison sites, but in the end Direct Line kept me by doing it for £418 valued at £ 60K.
That's with protected no claims, guarantee hire car plus etc etc....

Still have to have the tracker, but had to do that from new so not costing me any extra now as paid a "lifetime ownership" subscription.
Only downside is £800 excess - compulsary £500 + voluntary £300 ----- I never volunteered anything Laughing Laughing

Just got my renewal from Admiral. Multicar policy, me, the wife and my son.

My premium is £549, with, wait for it, a £900 excess!!!!

Went to confused.com and got a quote from esure for £347 with a £500 excess, so bit of a no-brainer on paper, but has anyone got any experiences on how esure deal with claims? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

If you want to get insurance ever again for less than a couple of important body parts, don't even think of making a claim!

I am going to move home.

Renewal quote came it at £1100 with Elephant. A quick visit to the Meerkat and Go Compare followed by a call to Elephant and done for 750 - with 250 voluntary and 100 compulsory excess - Still not great! Sad

How the hell are you guys getting a sub 500 quote??? African Bush Junkie ... in London!
