This is part of the dilemma. I knew & expected to loose so much when buying new, but will it really be any better to do it even in another 2 or 3 years time ?

Prices probably go up by 500 - 1000 each year, so expect an SE to be about 92K + in another 2 years, but then mine would probably only be worth approx 30K trade in???

So perhaps it makes no difference, if I plan on changing whether it's now or in 3 years, I still loose the same.

I suppose it only makes a difference if I buy a new one again & want to change that in 2 years, that's a real double whammy ! Laughing

@ Joker - don't think I got the balls to put 40K into shares, certainly not in this day & age Thumbs Up
That could loose more than a Range Rover Whistle

the only real answer is to go for it if you really really want an L405, or if not you'll just have to suffer with the current model! Good luck with either Very Happy

ps any photos of the current car? sounds like a nice spec Smile

I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick with this one until it's at least 3 years old, that way we shall see how good the new one has performed in the time Mr. Green Thumbs Up

If I were to change the darker causeway grey is rather nice Thumbs Up

Do you think shiny would look OK though with the matt pillars ? Or gloss those too ?

Rolo, just keep it mate, it is a very nice one you have there. Let someone else worry about the teething problems of the 405 !! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Is it just me that thinks the floating roof is one of the FFRR styling features and colouring the roof black looks **** ?

That is a nice car, keep it!
