United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

The worst part is that it is to become mandatory on all new cars from 2014. Maybe there's a business opportunity in repairing TPMS systems which don't work. Laughing

2006 Range Rover Autobiography Supercharged Zambezi Silver

When i changed over to my newly purchased winter wheels they never had TPMS fitted so i planned on switching it off with my IID Tool. I suspected it may not be working as I had never had an alert from it - especially given that I have an LPG thank where the spare should be - it never noticed that the spare was missing.

Anyway, after a few journeys I got the dreaded BONG and TPMS alert on the dash - so out with the IID Tool and deactivated it - job done Thumbs Up

Makes me wonder how it monitors the spare wheel though - my car didn't even notice it was missing Laughing Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

There are 2 set ups for the TPMS, one which monitors the spare wheel and one which does not, can't remember the reason why there are the 2 set-up, but it is somewhere in the workshop manual (Topix) 56 TDV8 Vogue SE
