Just had the FFRR in for the major service at my local main dealer and they've charged me £400 including VAT.

They have even changed the Brake fluid in that price as well.

Normally i avoid the main dealers like the plague, but when they quoted cheaper than my local specailists, i had no choice really.

Times must be hard if they are competing.

Any way not such good news came back with an advisery on both rear top hub bushes, theyve quoted £302.95 is that a good price, i see on the bay they are only about £10 each the rest must be labour. Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty,nothing else matters.

Personally after a tech at RR not knowing how the speedo got its signal that would put me off not using the stealers, the LR cam locking tool had never been out of the box, when I asked how they fitted timing chains they siad we wouldnt do that we just fit a new engine. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Best to use LR supplied bushes, 3rd party not likely to last.
