Reminds me of the old days when you had to fit a suppressor in line to your car radio to cut the noise from the dizzy. Whether something got left out when the new CD changer went in? I'd take it back to the menders as unfit for human consumption, or whatever it is under the Sale of Goods Act! .

could be an earthing problem with the cd player....check the connections again.. ... - .- -.

try connecting a wire from the cd unit to earth, it could be as simple as that [hopefully] ... - .- -.

you may need a ground loop isolator search ebay. .
