Range Rover brand dropped by Land Rover

Did you know Land Rover has dropped the new "Range Rover" brand idea and everything is now LAND ROVER again. The L405 & Evoque now come with black Land Rover branded centre caps and badges.....

Thank god for that.
I just couldnt come to tell people I drive a Range Rover. Tell them you drive a Land Rover and everyone is happy tell them you drive a Range Rover and you are a tosser and not of the UKGS type.

Last year LAND ROVER decided that they would SPLIT the brands between LAND ROVER for D4, Defender, Freelander and RANGE ROVER for Evoque, Sport & L405.

Most early Evoques were badged RANGE ROVER.

LAND ROVER have now decided to drop this plan and retain just the LAND ROVER brand. Its has cost them a fortune in badging & stationary & marketing etc......

The Evoque is now a "Land Rover Range Rover Evoque" Rolling with laughter
