Would it not be easier to leave the TV unit in and feed the PC signal in as an AUX ?

Is there an AUX video input on a 2006 touch screen that doesn't involve removing the dash? Land Rover Addict

Can it not be added, like an additional loom bit or such like, same as the BMW system in mine ?

Yeah the MOST system takes a fibre feed from the TV tuner and sends it to the AMP and screen IIRC and in simple terms.

Couldn't he put an RCA switching box between the TV out and the connection to the rear of the monitor? Then leaving the TV tuner in place so as not to "upset" the ICE system select TV from the touch screen and switch the feed between TV and PC using the switching box?????
